ATOM Kaiju File #21: Allotor

21-allotor

Date Discovered: June 14th, 1954

Place of Origin: Typhon Island

Notable Stomping Grounds: Typhon Island

Height: 80 feet

Length: 160 feet

Biology: Allotor is a fairly standard member of the Paleo Tyrant retrosaur clade, specifically belonging to the True Tyrant sub-clade.  She is a fairly typical member of the clade – a ferocious carnivore that uses both her teeth and claws to bring down prey.

Allotor sports the standard kaiju power set:

  • Super strength
  • An enhanced healing factor
  • Immunity to radiation

Personality: Allotor forms something of a dynamic duo with her fellow retrosaur, Cerator.  Of the two, Allotor is the smarter and calmer creature – the “brains” of the pair.  Under her leadership, the pair cause little trouble on the island, generally going about their business while calmly observing other monsters.  When their anger is roused, however, they are a formidable duo.  Allotor’s observant nature and keen mind help her devise wicked strategies to defeat her enemies, with Cerator at her beck and call to carry those plans out.

Allotor and Cerator also have a unique rivalry with another retrosaur kaiju – the crafty prankster Colossaraptor.  Colossaraptor often antagonizes the pair, who then pursue her while plotting a nonlethal sort of revenge.  While the three can be seen fighting often, researchers have noticed these scuffles are never taken seriously – it is, as far as anyone can tell, simply a game they play.
