Biology: Crustakra is definitely some sort of crustacean, though like many arthropod kaiju it seems to have many anatomical quirks that make its exact taxonomic placement tricky to pin down.  While its body is very similar to a crab’s, its eyestalks are fused into a single heavily powered “neck” and “head”, although its mouth remains where a crab’s mouth should be.  Its long, almost crocodilian tail is also a strange anomaly, and there is no consensus on why it is so brightly colored.

Despite its outlandish appearance, Crustakra’s kaiju power set is fairly standard:

• Super strength
• An enhanced healing factor
• Immunity to radiation

Personality: While territoriality in kaiju is expected, few take it to the extremes of Crustakra.  Any creature that enters the crustacean’s chosen stomping grounds will inevitably find itself on the wrong end of a brutal beatdown.  The strange crab will not relent until its opponent has either fled, expired, or turned the tables and beaten the crustacean itself into unconsciousness.

Thankfully, this territoriality can be a blessing as well, for Crustakra will never leave its chosen home unless it is forced to do so.  It does not explore, hunt for food, or investigate strange noises – all behaviors that have led kaiju into conflcit with humanity.  Instead Crustakra spends its time relentlessly patrolling its home, or, when all seems calm, building strange sculptures out of rocks, driftwood, and other debris.  Crustakra is especially protective of its strange artwork, and will go into an unstoppable rage when they are harmed.

Crustakra is completely antisocial, and no attempts by other kaiju to befriend it have been successful.  The massive arthropod is best left to its own devices, for woe be unto any who dare venture into its domain.
